The Graduate Programs in Bioscience is proud to host the third annual CSU Summer Symposium and Graduate Fair at UCLA! This event will feature a Graduate Fair and Poster Session. During the graduate fair CSU participants will have a chance to meet various STEM graduate programs and faculty and receive information pertaining to the individual programs, research, funding and campus resources. Following the grad fair, the CSU Symposium is a poster session that is meant to highlight MARC, MBRS RISE, McNair, IMSD, LSAMP, HHMI XROP, Amgen and any other students who plan to apply to STEM graduate programs in the next two years. This event is meant to allow them an opportunity network with UCLA faculty and promote their excellent research prior to their applying to graduate programs. We have seen an increase in CSU student acceptance since beginning this symposium and we hope to continue to make your students visible to our graduate programs.

Time: 1:00 – 3:00 PM (if students are presenting they should plan to arrive by 12:30, in order to set up)
Location: Geffen Hall (B36), UCLA
The following survey is an RSVP and it will gage their interest in graduate school so that we can optimize their visit. It will also collect their 100-250 word Abstract. The deadline for completing the survey and participating is July 26, 2018.
Since space is limited presenters who are embarking on applying to graduate programs will be given priority. They will receive confirmation of their abstract acceptance by August 1st.
Students need not present to attend, however all students should complete this SURVEY.
