In the future, Daniel hopes to continue doing research, teach and implement sustainable technologies and societies throughout the world. Madison Kennedy (Biochemistry) plans to attend the University of Washington, where she will be part of the Biological Physics, Structure and Design Ph.D. Program. In the future, Madison hopes to advocate for underrepresented minorities in STEM and to help make science accessible to the general public. She also hopes to one day become a professor and teach students about biochemistry while training people in the lab, making a significant impact on the lives of students and her field. Jeremea Songco (Psychology) will attend the University of Oregon this Fall, where she will be part of the Institute of Neuroscience’s Ph.D. Program. In the future, Jeremea hopes to work at a university or community college as a professor, and principal investigator of a research laboratory.

We are so proud of each and one of our 2018 SDSU MARC graduating scholars and a big thanks to their wonderful faculty mentors and everyone involved in the success of our students. We are elated to see what the future holds for them!
